Our Terms and Conditions for reservations and cancellations differ according to the program, tour or package you have reserved.
For programs such as the Palio Siena, Venice Carnival and Italian Opera, these Event Packages (which contain hotel accommodations + event tickets) must be resold (in part or in whole) in order to provide a refund.
Other Travel Programs such as Mille Miglia, Christmas Markets and Food & Wine Tours can provide a refund based on the time the cancellation notice was received. These details will be given at the time of your reservation.
In general, IF YOU DECIDE TO CANCEL, YOU MUST NOTIFY THE COMPANY IN WRITING OF YOUR INTENT TO CANCEL.
Customer Cancellation and Refunds for Event Packages: if you are not able to attend the Event and wish to cancel your reservation and your notice to cancel is received and if another buyer can be found for the Hotel, the Services or Tickets (the Package), then the Company can provide for a refund for the resale price of the Package (or any part thereof), net of any transaction costs so incurred, including but not limited to credit card service charges, reservation transfer fees and or commissions.
Travel Restrictions: For Special Event Packages, effective May 29th (for July Palio) and July 15th (for the August Palio) in the year in which your reservation has been provided or otherwise 30 days prior to the starting date of any other Travel Program as offered, if you are unable to travel due to restrictions placed on international travel for your country of departure or if such restrictions exist in Italy for incoming visitors that prevent you from arriving, then your reservation (and any payments) will be transferred to the Event date or Travel Program dates in the following year. Any remaining payment schedule will remain in effect. If you are not able to attend or travel in the following year, then we can resell the Event Package (accommodations and or tickets) in order to provide for a refund (net of any transaction costs so incurred, including but not limited to credit card service charges, reservation transfer fees and or commissions). Other Travel Programs will follow their respective refund terms and conditions. There are no refunds, nor will reservations be transferred if you are for any reason denied entry into Italy (ie not properly documented for travel) or if you are for any reason prohibited from boarding an airplane or any form of public transportation required to arrive to Italy or the event destination city.
Cancelled Palio Race: If a Palio race is cancelled until the following year, then all reservations will be transferred to the following year.

The Company accepts no liability for clients improperly documented or for those who may be denied entry for any reason. For holders of U.S. passport: the passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your planned date of departure.
